Doing six minutes of abdominal exercises every day is a good idea. But don't worry, Six Minute Waist Trimmer is not a six-minute video. It's three six-minute abdominal workouts, planned to last you six weeks. You're advised to do segment 1 (light intensity, simple exercises) daily for two weeks, then do the same with segment 2 (moderate intensity, with a new set of exercises), then segment 3 (challenging, with more difficult variations). The exercises are effective and varied, and Austin explains and models them well. However, you must realize that you can't spot-reduce the waist--this program needs to be done in conjunction with regular aerobics and dietary changes, as Austin points out.
