The Australian native emerged as one of the world s top professional skateboarders before making the shift into the radio as well as acting, mixed martial arts, and music.

He turned professional in 1990 and began his skateboarding career where he quickly became one of the top ranked pro skateboarders for nearly two decades. In 2001, Ellis set the Guinness World Record for the 'biggest drop onto a skateboard ramp'. Ellis was also the host of the X-Games from 2002-2006 and is currently the host of the annual 'Tony Hawk Boom Boom Huckjam'. He is currently the host of The Jason Ellis Show on Sirius XM Radio. The show which is broadcast daily is one of the most popular shows broadcast on satellite radio. Jason fronts the explosive gods of heavy metal ecstasy Taintstick. The group's debut album, '6lbs of Sound', charted at #120 on the Billboard Top 200.
