Spirit Breathing exercises were the earliest attempts to combine the power and agility of the wild animals into human beings, by imitating their movements. They are also known as "Zookinesis Age Reversal Exercises". These exercises eliminate the effects of aging, restoring elasticity to the ligaments, tendons and other connective tissue, increasing energy flow through the body, developing coordination, joint strength and proper breathing. This is a very non-stressful exercise which results in stress reduction.

Tai-chi-Chuan master Bob Klein began studying Tai-chi, chi-gung, Spirit Breathing, massage and other health exercises and martial arts in the 1960's and received his Tai-chi teaching certificate from Grandmaster William C. C. Chen in 1975. Mr. Klein has taught thousands of students at his Long Island School of Tai-chi-Chuan and at other Tai-chi and martial arts schools, hospitals and universities throughout the country. He is the author of the books, "Movements of Magic - the Spirit of Tai-chi-Chuan" and "Movements of Power - Ancient Secrets of Unleashing Instinctual Vitality". Mr. Klein is the present head of the health exercise system of Spirit Breathing or "Zookinesis" (Age Reversal Exercises) - a form of Chi-gung. He has a unique background as a zoologist, studying and handling thousands of animals in the wild and in captivity. He brings his understanding of the behavior and natural movements of animals into his practice and teaching.
