Two very different workouts. The first is led by Rodney Yee with Mariel Hemingway. It features basic yoga poses plus a variety of “awakening” moves. This program's overall attitude is “laid back” and not too serious; it focuses on boosting energy and having fun (e.g. “that move makes me feel like a kid again”). The second program is led by Cameron Shayne. It's more “traditional” with flowing vinyassas that include challenging twists and bends. Cameron's attitude is also more traditional; he emphasizes alignment, form and technique. The DVD has a 6-minute tutorial showing 10 yoga poses.

Rodney Yee was a professional ballet dancer who later studied Iyengar yoga. He travels nationally and internationally to conduct workshops, teacher-trainings and retreats. Rodney has been designing and performing in Gaiam programs for over 10 years. He has been featured on Oprah and other national programs.

Cameron Shayne is a high-ranking black belt in both Olympic-style Taekwando and Yoshukai karate. He has trained for more than 20 years in the martial arts, and for nearly a decade in hatha yoga and meditation techniques.
